Rita Finley Chalamidas is the Co-Owner of the Company. Her expertise includes: Senior trainer, Master Facilitator, consulting, professional coaching, leadership development, and experiential learning. Areas of success include design of adult learning methods and practical approaches to experiential learning, diagnosing organizational issues and helping clients deal with a variety of organizational and leadership issues. Rita is a certified Personal/Life Coach and enjoys a reputation for her straightforward and nurturing approach and her ability to engender long-term, application- oriented learning.
Rita has worked extensively in the natural resource and human resource industries. She is an accomplished speaker and trainer and enjoys a reputation for quickly building rapport with students; leveraging the use of multi-media and a variety of experiential approaches for her students.
Rita consistently demonstrates excellence in her communication skills and has been successful in motivating others, using her ability to persuade, negotiate complex issues, and resolve conflict in a variety of challenging situations. Rita is also a certified etiquette coach and has a passion for civility and helping others navigate the world with consideration for others. Rita enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with her two children.
Karen K. Kline, PhD is a Senior Consultant, Senior Trainer and facilitator with the company. Her expertise includes: organization development, consulting, training, facilitation and coaching. Karen brings over 25 years of experience in leadership/executive development, team building, and human resource management. She is an accomplished consultant specializing in organizational and process analysis, process reengineering, focus group planning and facilitation. She has taught statistics and research methods at the University of Utah, developed surveys, selection systems, evaluated educational programs, validated selection and appraisal systems, and worked with senior executives in numerous organizations in leadership and executive development.
Karen has demonstrated leadership in bringing groups and teams together, designing and delivering a variety of trainings and leadership programs and leading large-scale change. Karen is an avid hiker and has a particular affinity to the Grand Canyon which she hikes several times a year.
Frank Gallegos is a Senior Consultant/trainer with the company. Frank specializes in strategic planning, program assessment and development, and instructional design, development, and delivery. Frank has extensive management experience including at the executive level. Frank has considerable expertise in delivery of meaningful training and leadership development and is highly sought after by his students. He is skilled in design and implementation of mentoring programs, process assessments and change management.
In his spare time Frank likes to play golf, ride his Harley, and pursue his artistic interests: photography, miniature wood sculptures, and oil painting. Frank and his wife dance with an organized professional dance group and he is passionate about genealogy studies.
Lisa Frietas has worked with SWI since 2001. Lisa creates and maintains all training and marketing materials, provides graphic design services and assists with course development and training. Lisa specializes in customer service, intercultural competence and communication. She's been involved in numerous special projects and business development strategies for SWI and a variety of our clients. Lisa’s marketing and business development expertise includes research (capture & market), proposal management, technical writing, editing, and layout services. Experience includes design and layout of marketing/sales and training materials; government proposals; newsletter writing, layout and distribution for internal or external communication; technical publications; employee handbooks; advanced presentation design; reports, and marketing materials.
David Goodnow has worked as the Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer for SWI since 1997. Dave's role is to provide project coordination ensuring the projects and all related processes run smoothly. Dave is known for his ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information. Dave provides customer interface; administrative and billing services and strategic and business planning. Dave retired from Sandia National Laboratories after a long career where he held a variety of technical and scientific assignments.
Tom Krekel is a Senior Consultant & Trainer with the company. He has thirty years of experience in leadership as a CEO, followed by the last thirteen as a trainer and coach. The companies he led ranged from a start-up he founded, to an organization of 175 full-time employees with five locations in central New Jersey where he was President. He has a BA from Wisconsin, and an MBA from the Lubar School of Business of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Tom is an Accredited Facilitator in Patrick Lencioni’s “Five Dysfunctions of a Team” and a Certified Trainer in Everything DiSC. He has been a Scaling Up Certified Coach for the last ten years. Among Tom’s other interests are fitness, golf and acoustic guitar.
